Every summer the large number of ducks and geese create a possible health hazard and foul the water and beachfront and Bob Chases grassy yard.
Their poop is full of dispensed nutrients that foul the water. Often along the shore are green blobs of alge and droppings along the shore. Exposure in the water can cause duck itch and allergies. On several occasions there have been Cyanobacteria blooms in our Lake partly caused by the overpopulation of ducks. The blooms can be toxic to humans and fish and native Aquatic plants.
THEREFOR I ask for everones attention and assistance in discouraging the ducks and geese from hanging out along our beaches. .
